There are always going to be many things that you should have in your baby product arsenal. These are things that you are always going to need, and no matter where you go you should have them with you.
1. Diapers – Always make sure that you have enough diapers to get you through the next 24 hours. This is an absolute must have because you never know when you’re going to be able to get through the day, and you are going to need to have diapers in order to do it.
2. Wipes – These are baby wipes, yes, and can be used for diaper changes, cleaning up faces, and other types of messes that your baby might make. You should always have these with you no matter where you go – in the house, in the diaper bag, and in the car. You have to be sure that you are always having these to take with you.
3. Formula, bottle, etc – If your baby isn’t being breast-fed, you should always have extra formula and bottles on hand. Even if your baby is breast fed, you should have a bottle with water or some other thing that they can drink on hand, because you never know when you’ll be in a situation where the baby needs something and you can’t give it right away.
4. Pacifier – You are also going to want to always have a few of these useful things handy. You should try to train your baby to take them when they need to comfort themselves. Remember that they are better than sucking on fingers or other things, and if a baby likes to take them they’ll keep them quiet.
5. Blankets – You should always have several clean blankets ready no matter where you are going with your baby. Remember that these should be clean and soft and meant for baby to use.
6. Burping cloths – These are also important to have plenty of. Babies are going to spit up – a lot – and having burping cloths handy is the best way that you can make sure your baby can do this and you can be prepared to clean it up and make it all better. Several of these should be handy and ready to use no matter what time it is or where you are.
7. Changes of clothing – No matter what age your baby is, they are probably going to have to change clothes a few times each day. This is because babies spit up, babies drool, and babies spill on themselves. You are going to want to make sure that no matter what you do, your baby has some other clothes that you can put them in.
8. Rattles or Toys – At different ages, your baby is going to be concerned with different things. However, you should always have some age appropriate toys lying around that can help you entertain your baby no matter what.
9. Baby Tylenol or other medication – It is always a good idea to have some baby medicine around so that if your baby gets a small cold or fever you can give them some medicine and help them to feel better right away.
10. Teething jell/ Rings – It is also important that your baby always has something to help them when they begin teething. This is teething jell or rings that they can chew on while they are teething. These are always going to be very important things that you can have for your baby.
11. A hat – It is also important that you keep a hat handy. When you are going outside it might be good for your baby to wear his or her hat. Also, a hat can be a great distraction if your baby is fussy or bored. You might want to have this hat handy at all times for your baby.
12. Sun block – You are going to want to protect your baby from the sun at all times. Be sure that you are keeping plenty of sun block handy for your baby so that you can be sure they aren’t getting burnt.
